Overview

Travel registered nurse role in Reno, Nevada
13-week contract
Night shift, 3x12 schedule
36 guaranteed hours per week
No call required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nevada
Oncology (1 year of experience)
Oncology experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification

Unit / Patient Population

Oncology/cancer unit
Cares for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Mix of oncology and medical-surgical patients
Common admissions include chemotherapy and complications related to disease process

Schedule / Assignment Expectations

May be required to float within competency
One additional shift required during the schedule period
Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays

Clinical Notes

Remote telemetry monitoring capability on the unit
Tele testing and ACLS are not required
Additional bloodwork required: CMP, CBC with differential, TSH, hepatic panel, and creatinine
