Job Overview

Location: Portland, Maine
Employment type: Travel

Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Contract length: 26 weeks
Call: Yes, 2 hours for the oncoming shift

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Maine
Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS
NRP
Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience
Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
NRP for NICU
Tertiary/teaching hospital experience
Level 1 trauma experience
NICU/PICU cardiothoracic experience

Work Environment

Float across the facility as an RRT
Patient ratios: acute 1:25; critical 1:8
Team coverage across the facility with 14–16 RRTs
Equipment includes Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, Respironics V30/V60, Trilogy, Airvo, and Vapotherm

Additional Notes

Flexible scrub color provided
Strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility are emphasized
