Overview

• Travel assignment in Pasadena, Texas
• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
• 3-bed unit
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
• Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• RCIS
• Cath Lab Tech Certification
• Previous cath lab experience

Unit Details

• Staffed with 8 full-time staff and 3 PRN staff
• Day shift staffing depends on case load, with 3-4 staff per room and at least 1 tech per room
• Night shift is call only, with 2 RN and 1 tech each night
• Typical procedures include Heart Caths, CTO, high risk PCI, ablations, devices, peripheral angio with/without intervention, ECMO cannulation, and thrombectomy
• Floating area: none
• On-call starts after cases end daily
• Weekend on-call is 24 hours at a time from Friday through Sunday
