Role Overview

Travel RN position in the Emergency Department, backfill opening, 1 opening.

Schedule

7P - 7A
36 guaranteed hours per week
Minimum of two weekends per schedule
No call
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Trauma patients
Experience working with Stroke patients
STEMI experience
Sepsis experience
Experience with conscious or moderate sedation

Preferred Qualifications

2 years Emergency Department experience

Unit Details

Emergency Department
48 beds with flex space
Trauma Level 3
4:1 ratio in Main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track

Additional Clinical Context

Patient population includes ESRD, Cirrhosis, COPD, and Psychiatric
Common diagnoses/treatments include ESRD, Substance Abuse Disorders, Psychological Disorders, COPD, CHF, Abdominal Pain, and Chest Pain
Team nursing and Pod System
Social worker assigned to the department and unit educator
