Assignment Overview

Travel RN assignment in San Antonio, Texas
Unit: 2 South ICU
Classification: COVID ICU
14 beds
Patient ratio: 1:2
Shift: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
Weekend: rotating
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Assignment length: 13 weeks
Floating: required; float as needed
Scheduling: 3 shifts per week and every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

ECMO
CRRT (NxtStg)
Meditech experience

Unit Details

Equipment: ECMO NxtSTG
Procedures performed: ECMO, CRRT, chest tube insertions, central line insertions
High-acuity COVID ICU with advanced interventions such as VV ECMO
