ICU RN

Overview

  • Travel assignment in Pasadena, Texas
  • 26-bed ICU on the 2nd floor of the Main building
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIH Certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • CV, Neuro ICU

Unit Details

  • Patient ratio: 1:2
  • Equipment includes mechanical ventilators, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and EKOS
  • Typical procedures include intubation, bedside ECMO cannulation, chest tube insertion, bedside tracheostomy, and central line insertions

Floating Scope

  • CVIMCU
  • IMCU

Schedule

  • Every other weekend shift
  • No on-call

Additional Notes

  • EMR: Meditech
  • Dress code: Royal Blue
