RN - OR Circulator (General & Neuro Surgery) - Travel Position

Location: Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel

Job Summary

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator in Operating Room
Specialty Focus: Primarily Neuro Surgery with General Surgery cases including Urology, Gynecology, and Orthopedics
Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
Schedule Notes: Limit of 3 Fridays or Mondays off in a 6-week schedule
Call: Rotating weekend call approximately every 6-7 days; scheduled late shifts designated to stay late if needed
Patient Type: Surgical patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Minimum 1 year of OR circulating experience within the last year
Neurosurgery experience
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Valid Driver's License

Unit & Equipment Information

Operating Room environment
Equipment used: DaVinci Xi robot, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, Beach Chair
EMR system: EPIC

Work Environment & Culture

Dress Code: Hospital-provided black scrubs only; no other scrub colors allowed
Personality Fit: Flexible with case types, hardworking, team player

Additional Notes

This is not an auto-offer position
Facility is a 244-bed hospital serving a large regional population
Weekend hours are not regularly scheduled outside of call requirements

This position is ideal for an experienced OR RN with strong neuro and general surgery circulating skills, comfortable with advanced surgical equipment and robotic-assisted procedures.
