Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, every other week (EOW)
Hours per week: 36 (with 48-hour weekly guarantees possible)
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Provide nursing care primarily in the ICU with floating responsibilities to Stepdown and Medical-Surgical (MS) units.
Patient ratio: 1:2 in ICU, 1:3-4 in Stepdown.
Unit size: 16 beds.
Call required, but rarely needed.
Must work at least one Winter holiday.
Use Cerner EMR system.
Scrub color: Royal Blue.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
Experience in Stepdown units
Ability to float to Stepdown and Medical-Surgical units

Additional Information

Blocked scheduling may be requested (EOW).
Maximum return to office (RTO) time: 1 week.
Mix of ICU, Stepdown, and some MS overflow patients.

Notes

Floating and call responsibilities are mandatory.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
