• Night shift, 7p-7a
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend

Unit Details

• Med/Surg unit
• 36 beds
• Adult to geriatric patient population
• Float to step-down care if needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PICC and central line care experience
• Post-op surgical care experience for post-op total knee and hip replacement patients
• Post-op surgical care experience for post-op hernia repair patients
• Post-op surgical care experience for post-op colectomy patients

Key Experience Needed

• IVs
• NG tubes
• PICC and central line care
• Catheter care
• Post-op surgical care
• General surgery care
• Total joint replacement care
• Hernia repair care
• Colectomy care

Preferred Experience

• Foley catheters
• IV insertion
• Telemetry
• Tube feeding
• Stroke care
• Post-op care
