Radiology Technician (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shift: Days, 5x8 (36 hours/week)
Weekend & Call: As required by facility (including every other weekend and holidays)
Orientation: Night shift orientation occurs on day shift; availability for the entire orientation week is required

Job Description

• Assist radiologists and physicians with interventional and special procedures such as myelography, hysterosalpingography, arthrography, GI procedures, and general x-ray procedures using portable equipment, fluoroscopy rooms, and general x-ray rooms.
• Perform surgery procedures using C-arms and O-arms.
• Provide essential patient care during exams.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Take OR call when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience.
• Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.

• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Black scrubs required

Additional Requirements

• Flu vaccination is mandatory from November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted.
• Float and weekend hours as required by the facility.

Work Environment & Patient Population

• Exposure to a variety of patient care settings including IP, OR, ED, and OP.
• Involvement in trauma, interventional, and general radiology procedures.
