Job Opportunity: First Assist (CST/ORT)

Location

Salt Lake City, Utah

Employment Type

Travel assignment

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (36 hours per week)
On-call: Every third weekend and every third weekday (rotating)
Weekend call rotation every third weekend

Unit Information

Cardiac Operating Room with 2.5 CVORs
Procedures commonly performed: CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, aorta repair (open and endovascular), thoracic surgeries
Floating area: Main OR
Scrub attire provided by hospital

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of CVOR First Assist experience, including experience within the last year
Certification required: CSFA, CFA, or SA-C
BLS certification
Surgical First Assistant experience
Surgical technologist skills assessment or knowledge of hazardous drug risks per USP 800
