Job Details

• Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
• Employment Type: Travel
• Location: Margate, Florida
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: Day shift only

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 281
• Staffing: 11 PTs (8 PRN), 2 PTAs, 2 PRN Office Coordinators
• Patient Load: 8-10 patients per 8-hour shift; assigned 10-13 patients
• Equipment Used: Walkers, Crutches, Braces, Wheelchairs
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Call Requirement: Must be available for call by 7:00 AM

• Therapeutic Activities

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS Certification
• De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferences

• Previous travel experience preferred
• Ability to quickly learn Meditech and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Independent worker
