Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Albany, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Must have Epic experience.
- Navy blue scrubs are required.
- Prior travel nursing experience is required.
- Experience in a Level I trauma center is highly preferred.
- Ability to float to various ICU units is highly desired.
- Must be comfortable and competent caring for ICU patients in the following areas:
- Neuro/Trauma SICU
- MICU
- CPS/VICU
- CCU
- Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
- ICU/PACU and ED patients awaiting bed placement
- Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Experience in Emergency Department (ED)
- Experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Additional Information
- This is a travel nursing position with a 13-week contract.
- Candidates from certain local counties are not eligible (effective 1/11/2024).
- Floating to other units may be required.
- Work schedule details not specified beyond 36 hours per week.
- Competency testing and verification processes are part of the onboarding.
