Position Details

• Department: Rehabilitation / Occupational Therapy
• Specialty: Pediatrics Outpatient
• Shift: Days (7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
• Schedule: Mon-Thursday, 36 guaranteed hours per week (40 scheduled)
• Breaks: Unpaid 30-minute lunch (12:30 pm – 1:00 pm)
• Patient Load: 10-14 scheduled patients per day
• EHR System: Cerner
• Patient Population: Pediatrics and special needs
• Common Diagnoses: Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, Autism, premature infants
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Licensure: New Mexico State OT License
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year; Pediatrics Outpatient experience preferred
• Education: Per New Mexico State Licensing Board requirements
• Dress Code: Dark gray (pewter) top and black pants; scrubs or polo/button-up; no jeans
• Vaccinations: All required vaccinations must be verified

Additional Information

• No weekend or call requirements
• Overtime must be pre-approved
• Mandatory meetings expected; if during lunch break, timecard will be adjusted to paid time
• No float requirements
