Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer with a specialty in OB/GYN, specifically Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM). This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations focused on high-risk obstetrical patients. The position requires independent operation of ultrasound equipment and strong knowledge of complex OB/GYN conditions.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekend hours
• No call requirements
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vaginal and abdominal ultrasounds on OB/GYN patients, including high-risk pregnancies
• Evaluate patient tolerance for procedures
• Communicate diagnostic results with healthcare team members
• Provide ultrasound guidance during procedures
• Document diagnostic and patient data accurately in the medical record
• Assist with appropriate billing practices related to ultrasound services

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography experience, including experience within the last year
• Degree training completed at a hospital, vocational-technical institute, or through military service
• ARDMS certification required
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with high-risk OB/GYN patients
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably EPIC
