Position Details

• Unit: Medical Unit (CC1001)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Nights (7A - 7P)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Requirements: Recommended to work at least 2 weekend shifts per month
• Patient Ratios: 1:5 and 1:6
• Equipment Used: VS machine, bladder scanner, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, tube feeding pumps
• EHR System: Cerner

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS (must be AHA)
• Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year, 2 years preferred in Med/Surg
  • Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
  • Oncology skills helpful but not necessary
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, CHF
• Required Education: ADN
