Required qualifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- Documented PCU experience in work history
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar-sized facility
Clinical details
- 28-bed PCU/IMCU with a cardiac population
- Typical patient ratio: 1:3-4
- May also be assigned to telemetry beds in the same unit with lower acuity levels
- Common conditions and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, chest pain, and cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors
