Unit Details

• Med/Surge Telemetry unit
• 46 beds total: 40 acute and 6 intermediate care

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS

Float Scope

• May float as needed to the Surge Unit or Emergency Dept to manage Medsurg patients unable to come to the Medsurg floor

Schedule Notes

• Weekend and holiday coverage based on unit needs, with every other weekend at most

Staffing / Support

• Admission/discharge nurse and patient ambulator on site
• Respiratory therapist and security available 24/7
• No IV team or RRT team

Expected Ratios

• Days: 5-6 patients
• Nights: 6-7 patients

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
