Location
- Hackensack, New Jersey
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Night shift, 3x12 schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New Jersey
- Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- PALS
- NBRC
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with ventilators
- Respiratory Therapist experience
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy for patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies
- Assist with intubation and manage ventilator setup and operation
- Evaluate patient needs and provide patient and caregiver education
- Float to adult ICU, intermediate care, and basic intermediate care areas
