Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision. Responsibilities include:

• Managing an assigned group of patients
• Documenting patient responses and changes in physician orders
• Assisting physicians with examinations and minor procedures
• Monitoring physiological data and intervening as needed
• Administering medications, IV infusions, and blood products
• Delivering competent patient care
• Communicating care plans with patients and families
• Making referrals for patient care needs
• Delegating tasks to support staff

Required Qualifications

Education

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year

Additional Information

• No prior travel experience required
• Preferred education and certifications are not mandatory but beneficial
