Staff Registered Nurse (RN) on Med/Surg 6C

Peoria, Illinois

Contract

13 weeks
36 hours per week
Day shift, 7am-7:30pm

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Med Surg (3 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Education

Core Responsibilities

Provides nursing care using the nursing process
Completes initial patient assessments and develops plans of care
Implements and modifies nursing interventions and patient care procedures
Maintains accurate nursing documentation
Reports and/or corrects safety hazards and incidents
Communicates directly and privately when needed to resolve issues
Supports peer development and professional growth
Identifies personal learning needs and takes initiative to address them
Meets departmental competency requirements
