Overview

• Role: RN Progressive Care Unit
• Location: Chapel Hill, North Carolina
• Schedule: Days, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Setting: Hospital-based clinical nursing role

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• CHARGE
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing

Unit / Patient Population

• Mixed patient population of step-down and acute care patients
• Higher percentage of acute care patients at present
• Typical assignments of up to 5 patients
• Candidates should be comfortable caring for both acute and step-down neurological patients in a dynamic environment
