Required to work at least 2 Fridays and 2 Mondays per 6-week schedule cycle
12-hour shifts

Job Description

Provide nursing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process and current nursing trends.
Perform patient assessments and infant care.
Develop, implement, and modify individualized plans of care based on patient and family needs.
Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying and reporting hazards.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
Participate in professional development and fulfill departmental competencies.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Minimum 3 years of OB/GYN nursing experience, including experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
