Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Neurology experience within the last year
- 3 years of neurology experience
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Education
- BSN
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process
- Complete admission assessments and develop care plans based on patient and family needs
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and patient care procedures
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation
- Support patient and staff safety by reporting or correcting hazards and incidents
- Communicate directly and privately when needed to resolve issues
- Give constructive feedback and support peer professional development
- Identify personal learning needs and pursue appropriate solutions
- Meet departmental competency requirements
