Job Opportunity: RN - Nurse Educator
Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Acute Nursing
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
Job Description
Seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as a Nurse Educator with a strong clinical background and experience in medical-surgical nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an educator, with educator experience within the last year
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Perioperative nursing experience
Additional Information
- Solid clinical background is essential
- No preferred certifications or additional education beyond those listed
This position is ideal for experienced RNs with perioperative and med/surg backgrounds who have advanced education in nursing or education and are interested in a clinical educator role.
