Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 24 months of current Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience. The role requires working in a full-service medical campus with a focus on heart care and surgical services. The hospital has Magnet® recognition for nursing excellence and offers a supportive environment with complementary therapies.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience.
• Travel experience is preferred but not required.

Licenses & Certifications

• Active Arizona RN license or Compact license at time of submission.
• No hits on Nursys license verification at time of submission.
• Active American Heart Association certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Other Requirements

• Candidates with an Arizona driver's license will not be considered.
• Flu vaccination is required; declinations can be applied for. Vaccination status must be included in submission notes.
• Return to Office (RTO) requests will not be approved within the first week or on holidays and cannot exceed 7 days.
• Must complete all required learning modules prior to assignment start.
• Background requirements are strict and must be attested to immediately.

• Fully completed Banner cover page including all departments and shifts the candidate is willing to work.
• Resume detailing all facilities worked at, including facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units.
• Skills checklist specific to Operating Room discipline.
• Driver’s license (non-Arizona) required.

Additional Notes

• Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
