Operating Room RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Largo, Maryland
• 13-week contract
• 3x12 mids shift, 10:45 AM to 11:15 PM
• Adults/Geriatrics patient population
• 1:1 ratio

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC
• Trauma experience
• Urology experience
• Orthopedics experience
• Plastic Surgery experience
• Neurology experience
• OB/GYN experience
• Endoscopy experience
• ENT Surgery experience
• Thoracic Surgery experience
• Vascular Surgery experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS
• First-time travelers accepted with strong general OR and robotics experience

Schedule and Logistics

• Holidays required as scheduled, including on-call coverage
• Weekends required on a rotational basis, including on-call shifts
• On-call: 5-6 calls per 4-week period, including one weekend call
• Weekday/weeknight on-call runs from end of shift to 6:30 AM the following morning
• Weekend on-call is 24 hours
• Must arrive within 30 minutes when called in
• Floating required within the specialty and to sister Laurel campus as needed
