Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Towson, Maryland
Start date: 10/19/2026
Contract length: 8 weeks
Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
On-call: 1 weeknight per week, 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM Monday–Thursday; 1 weekend call every 6th weekend, 5:00 PM Friday to 6:00 AM Monday
24-hour holiday call coverage may be required
Local candidates accepted at a reduced local travel rate

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Interventional Radiology (1 year of experience)
Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute

Notes

Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
Any special scheduling requests must be submitted with the RTO at time of application submission

Pros

The charge nurses and patient population is friendly.

Cons

They will short staff you every day. I got attitude multiple times when trying to take lunch 9 hours into my shift because ‘we don’t really do that here.’ Incredibly frustrating staffing levels, especially on the oncology floor.
