Operating Room Nurse
Location

Assignment Details
- Travel/contract role
- 8-week contract
- Day shift, 4x10 hours
- 40 hours per week
- Patient population: infants to geriatrics
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Clinical Setting
- Operating room RN role in a Level 2 trauma setting
- Cases include trauma, vascular, ENT, general surgery, orthopedic trauma, eye surgery, gynecology, and gynecologic oncology
- Experience with all procedures is not required
- Does not include open-heart surgery or organ transplants
Schedule and Work Expectations
- Every third weekend
- Approximately 7 call days per month, including holidays
- Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
- Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed
Additional Notes
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR are used in the unit
- Full compliance is required before start
- Background check, education verification, work history verification, references, skills checklist, and health documentation are required before start
