Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1 year of Telemetry experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Rubeola (Measles): 2 vaccines or positive titer within 10 years
• Mumps: 2 vaccines or positive titer within 10 years
• Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer within 10 years
• Hepatitis B: vaccine series, positive titer within 10 years, or signed declination
• Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer within 10 years
• Negative 15-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• 2 Professional References within 3 years of start

• Background Check within 30 days of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM within 30 days of start

Notes

• Workplace Violence Prevention training is completed onsite for ER and Behavioral Health units
• Cardiac Procedure Education Binder must be reviewed prior to start for Telemetry units
• Competency Assessment must be printed and brought to orientation for Telemetry units
