Ultrasound Tech - General

Overview

• Location: Seattle, Washington
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 18 weeks
• Shift: Day/Eve
• Schedule options: 4x10s or 5x8s
• Weekend coverage may be required
• May need to work up to two weeks of night shifts
• Holiday availability is required if the unit needs coverage
• Floating may include the ER, portables, OR, and ICU

Required Qualifications

• Ultrasound Technologist (0.5 years of experience)
• Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• RDMS-AB
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Experience working with Neonate patients
• Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
• Vascular procedure experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient experience
• Level I Trauma experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Children’s hospital experience
• EPIC familiarity
• Rad Net familiarity
• RDMS-peds certification
• RVT certification

Additional Notes

• The unit provides general pediatric ultrasound and vascular lab services
• Common case types include DVTs, post-PICC line studies, IJs, peripheral vascular studies, ED appendicitis and testicular cases, ICU portables, and transplant-related imaging
