Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Location: Bellevue, Washington
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
• Hours: 36 per week
• Start date: 8/31 or 9/21
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic

• No block schedule
• Requested time off must be 5 days or less

Additional Hiring Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Social Security number must be provided
• Background check covering all locations lived, worked, or attended school in the past 7 years
• Two satisfactory references from previous employers within the last year
• Employment application copy
• Washington state court search
• Washington state WSP/WATCH search
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB screening within 1 year of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B documentation or declination
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or facility-specific declination
• Tdap vaccination or declination

Facility Onboarding / Compliance

• Candidate must review and sign code of conduct, applicant disclosure statement, confidentiality policy, and internet usage agreement
• Fraud, waste, and abuse training completion required
• Modules assigned after orientation must be completed promptly
• Health requirements form and checklist are part of compliance processing
