Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Lafayette, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Call Requirements:
    • 1 rotating weekend per month
    • 1 call weekend per month
  • First Timers Accepted: Yes
  • Locals Accepted: Yes
  • Floating: No floating outside scope of practice
  • Holiday Work: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
  • Guaranteed Hours:
    • 8 and 10 hour shifts totaling 40 hours/week
    • Or 3 twelve-hour shifts totaling 36 hours/week
    • Or 4 twelve-hour shifts totaling 48 hours/week

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty (Radiology / Cardiology)
  • Certification:
    • Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
    • Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) through ARRT or NMTCB (can be pending at submission)
  • BLS: Basic Life Support certification required
  • State License: Indiana state license required or pending accepted
  • Skills: Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise patient positioning as needed

Additional Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License or Passport (clear copy)
  • Background Check (including 7 years of residence/work history, criminal, sex offender, and education verification)
  • Physical Exam within 12 months of start date
  • Fit Mask Test within 12 months (N95 or approved respirators)
  • Immunizations and Health Screenings:
    • Tuberculosis test within 1 year
    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccinations or positive titers required
    • Varicella vaccination or positive titer required
    • Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination required
    • Seasonal Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required
    • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months
  • Competency exams and unit-specific skills checklist within 12 months
  • References: Minimum 2 recent professional references with supervisory titles
  • Compliance with facility-specific orientation and safety acknowledgements

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least 1 year of experience, who hold or are eligible for ARRT certification and Indiana licensure, and are comfortable working rotating weekends and holiday shifts.
