Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel/Contract)

Job Details

• Weekend shifts only: 3 shifts of 12 hours each

  • Saturday: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM
  • Sunday & Monday: 09:00 AM – 09:30 PM
• Work alone after midnight
• Patient population: Emergency Department (ED) patients and inpatients only (no scheduled outpatients during these shifts)
• Start Date: ASAP, any Monday
• Return to Office (RTO) max 5 days considered

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• Certifications:

  • Washington Radiological Technologist Certification (required)
  • ARRT CT certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Skills:

  • Experience with EPIC electronic health record system

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Social Security Number (not the card itself)
• Background check covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, including:

  • SSN Trace
  • County, State, Federal, Nationwide, and National Sex Offender searches
  • International searches if applicable
• State license primary source verification
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (highly preferred or declination)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (QGold, T-SPOT, or 2 PPDs)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella titers or vaccinations (boosters required if titers negative/equivocal)
  • Hepatitis B titer, proof of series, or facility-specific declination
  • Flu vaccine or facility-specific declination (required year-round)
• 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant tests acceptable)
• References: At least two satisfactory references from previous employers within the last year, including evaluation of clinical competency and reliability (references must be from manager, supervisor, or charge RN)

Additional Notes

• Candidate must complete facility-specific modules and training after orientation
• Candidate must review and sign facility policies including Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Policy, Appearance and Dress Code, and Applicant Disclosure Statement
• CMS Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) training required annually
• Competency exams and mandatory OSHA training required annually with minimum passing scores

Prior Travel Experience

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least 1 year of experience, certified in Washington state, who are comfortable working independently during overnight hours on weekends in an acute care setting.
