Job Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with call on Saturday and Sunday
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year

Required Certifications & Licenses
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA RQI certifications acceptable
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA BLS required for medical lab techs
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA RQI certifications acceptable
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- State License Verification (Missouri or Compact License for nursing; refer to Allied Licensure Report for allied professionals)
- NURSYS Verification (as applicable)
- NIH Stroke Certification (required for ICU, Interventional Radiology, ED, MS/Tele, PCU, Stepdown)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) – Required for Behavioral Health & ER RNs and techs
Required Background Checks & Documents
- Criminal background check within 12 months including: SSN Trace, 7-year county residence/work history, nationwide search, sex offender search
- Missouri-specific searches: MO EDL Search, MO Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) – time sensitive
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- I9 verification
- E-Verify
- Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license in a different state)
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year indicating good health (Aya standard)
- Negative drug screen within 12 months of start
- Negative TB test (PPD, Qgold, or TSPOT) within 12 months; chest X-ray within 5 years if positive PPD
- TB Questionnaire at start and annually
- Immunizations or proof of immunity for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (new candidates only)
- Varicella
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (renewed annually)
- COVID vaccination preferred (initial series)
- OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to start (fit testing done onsite during first week)
- Fit Mask testing annually (not required for some non-patient facing roles)
Competency & Skills Requirements
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (required for ED, ICU, MS/Tele, PCU, Stepdown)
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (Aya requirement for new candidates)
- Competency Exam (Aya requirement for new candidates)
- Color Blind Testing (for Med Lab Techs, Med Techs, and Aphresis RNs)
- Skills Checklist required
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Photo for badge (passport style, plain white/off-white background)
- Confidentiality and Security Agreement – must be reviewed and signed prior to start
- Standards of Ethical Conduct and Relevant Policies – must be reviewed and signed prior to start
- Respirator Fit Test Form – must be completed onsite during orientation
- Completion of required online modules assigned by compliance due date (updated annually)
- AbioMed Impella Online Training (required for ICU/CCU and Cath Lab candidates; completed outside LMS)
- Orientation Checklists (post-start) depending on setting:
- Agency Personnel Orientation Checklist (all except Home Health/Hospice and LTC)
- Home Health and Hospice Orientation Checklist
- LTC Orientation Checklist
- Non-Clinical Orientation Checklist
- Glucometer Assessment during orientation for RNs and Anesthesia Techs (not required for some nursing specialties)

- Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience; no first-timers accepted
- Candidates must be able to work the specified weekend shifts with call
