Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Deerfield Beach, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work schedule: Days; Monday 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM, Tuesday-Friday 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM with call
• Option to work extra shifts if requested/needed
• Hurricane sign-up required but not guaranteed
• Must have experience with Siemens equipment
• Experience with imaging of Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Head/Neck, Spine/Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, PACS, CTA, and CCTA's preferred
• Preparation/Administration of Contrast Media and Starting IVs required
• Experience with Aspirations/Biopsies and Drainage preferred
• Trauma experience required
• Adult patient experience required in inpatient and/or outpatient settings
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• CT Technologist with at least 1 year of recent experience
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ARRT certification
• Experience working with adult, infant, neonate, pediatric, maternal-fetal patients
• Experience working with Level 1 and Level 2 trauma patients
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Experience with Siemens equipment

Prior Travel Experience

• No explicit prior travel experience required

Required Certifications and Compliance

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
• ARRT Computed Tomography credential required
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprinting clearance required prior to start
• Background check within 6 months including all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, updated annually
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (instant tests not accepted)
• Physical exam within 6 months of start, signed by DO, MD, NP, APRN, or PA, confirming ability to perform job without restrictions
• Annual fit mask test with approved masks (3M 1860 Regular or 1860 Small)
• Negative QuantiFERON TB test within 6 months or chest X-ray if prior positive
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity: MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• COVID vaccination preferred (tracking only)
• Two professional references from within the last 2 years required

  • Other facility-specific training modules as applicable

• Government-issued photo ID required and must be carried during hours of service

• Photo for badge: passport-style, color, white background, no hats or sunglasses

• Privacy policy, AHCA affidavit, and demographic information sheet required for all clinical placements
