Overview

Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey

Role Highlights

Floating may be required to the Main OR if there are no CVOR cases.
On-call is required: 32 total hours per month.
No block schedule.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
CVOR (3 years of experience)
CVOR experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Scrub experience for TAVR
Knowledge of devices (Impella)
Knowledge of devices (HeartMate)
Knowledge of ECMO
Knowledge of laser lead extractions
Knowledge of TAVR

Preferred Qualifications

CNOR.

Experience Notes

First-time travelers will be considered, though experience is highly preferred.

Key Clinical Skills

Open heart adult surgery, CABG, and valve cases.
Knowledge of impella, heartmate, ECMO, laser lead extractions, and TAVR.
