Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 40 hours guaranteed
Job Description
- Perform Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures with the ability to conduct CT scans during procedures.
- Required experience with outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU settings.
- Must have hands-on experience with PACS, C-Arm, contrast administration, biopsies, stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrogram, peripheral procedures, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, and imaging of GU, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities.
- Proficiency in using pushable/detachable coils, micro catheters, micro wires, snare kits, and injector systems (preferably ACIST).
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system is required.
- Call rotation required: approximately 10 days per month including weekends.
- Floating outside scope to meet facility needs is not required.
- Candidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility (no locals accepted).
- Pending licenses may be accepted at manager’s discretion.
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week; facility may low census or cancel up to 36 hours per contract.
Required Qualifications
- Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Experience in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

- Scrubs provided; onsite parking available at no cost.
- Call schedule includes weekends.
- No floating outside scope.
- Candidates must submit Return to Office (RTO) requests with application; additional requests subject to manager approval.
- Candidates will be fit tested onsite during orientation; failure to provide fit test results within two weeks may result in removal from assignment.
- Various facility-specific post-start orientation checklists and assessments required.
- Candidates must complete online AbioMed Impella training if applicable (not required for this position).
- Candidates must provide a passport-style photo for badge issuance.
