Job Overview

  • Travel/contract RN role in Saint Louis, Missouri
  • Night shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
  • Start date is approximately 3–4 weeks out, depending on compliance
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Local candidates are not accepted; 75-mile radius rule applies
  • Pending license is accepted

Schedule and Assignment Details

  • Every other weekend is required, or at least 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
  • Holiday rotation is required
  • Floating is required within scope to medical, surgical, renal, oncology, neuro, and cardiology units
  • Block scheduling is not available
  • Guaranteed hours are 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Missouri
  • Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS
  • IV
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • NIH certification

Unit/Role Notes

  • Ratios are 1:5–6 on days and weekends, and 1:6 on nights
  • Special equipment/skills mentioned: lift devices, ceiling lifts, and bladder scanner
