Registered Nurse - Cath Lab (Travel/Contract)

Location: Milford, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse
• Unit: Cath Lab - Diagnostic only exams, pre/during/post-op care
• Work Schedule: Day shift, 4 days per week, 8 hours per day (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
• Hours per week: 32 guaranteed; may range up to 36-40 hours depending on need
• No weekends, holidays, or call requirements
• Work involves 1 procedure room and 3 bay areas
• Charting system: Epic

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Certifications (as applicable)

• ACLS, PALS, NRP, NALS, TNCC, EFM, ENPC, CPI, NIH Stroke Certification, CHEMO (preferred for oncology), and others may be required depending on unit assignment (check specific specialty requirements)

Additional Information

• Accepts first-time travel nurses (no prior travel experience required)
• Varied start times and shift lengths possible (8 or 10 hours) but primary shift is 4x8 day shift
• No float requirements
• Medication and telemetry exams are pass/fail with only one attempt allowed; failure results in immediate cancellation
• Facility-specific declination forms required if declining vaccines; some declinations not accepted for certain patient populations (pediatrics, maternity, NICU)
• COVID-19 declination required if declining updated vaccine (deadline 01/25/24)
• Compliance with all background, health, and facility-specific documentation required prior to start
