• Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Patient Ratio: 1:9 to 1:12
• Guaranteed Hours: Based on signed contract hours

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Long Term Care (LTC), including Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience
• LTC experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience working in Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing settings

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Education Verification:

  • Highest level of nursing education verified (associate, bachelor, master, or doctorate degree)
• State License Verification: Primary source verification required
• NURSYS Verification: Required for all RNs
• Pass/Fail Testing:

  • Cardiac arrhythmia and medication dosage calculation tests on first day of orientation (two attempts allowed)
  • Required for RNs only
• Medication/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement: Required
• Facility-Specific Documents:

  • Photo for badge (headshot on plain background)
  • Facility-specific orientation information provided before start
• References: Two references within 1 year of start required
• Employment Application: Required

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start, updated annually, confirming ability to meet physical demands
• TB Screening: Facility-specific TB risk assessment and symptom evaluation within 3 months of start, updated annually

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray documentation required if symptomatic or history of TB
• Immunizations:

  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines, positive titer, or approved exemption
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines, positive titer, or approved exemption
  • Hepatitis B: Proof of vaccination series, positive titer, or signed declination
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccine or declination required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31)
  • COVID-19: At least 2 doses required or declination form
• Drug Testing: Within 90 days of start (10-panel plus Oxycodone and Marijuana)
• Respiratory Safety Clearance: Required within 1 year of start for those using respirators

Additional Notes

• Attendance policy applies: Missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may lead to contract review or cancellation.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with initial application; late requests will not be considered.
• Candidates must pass all required exams and certifications as part of orientation and ongoing compliance.
