Job Opportunity: Women’s Health Ultrasound/Sonographer-Genetics

Position Details

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Job Description

The position involves performing various ultrasound procedures related to women's health, including:

  • Perinatal/MFM and GYN Ultrasound
  • Detailed anatomical surveys per AIUM guidelines
  • Common scans such as Fetal Dopplers, Biophysical Profiles, and Nuchal Translucency

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with experience within the last year
  • Experience specifically in Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography
  • Certifications Required:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification
  • Education: Graduated from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • South Carolina State ultrasound licensure is not required

  • Radius Rule: 60 miles; locals accepted on a case-by-case basis
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • Scrub Color: Teal tops and black bottoms
  • Charting System: Epic

    • Drug screening (10 panel) within 90 days of start
    • COVID-19 vaccination records or declination form
  • Background Check: Annual background check including SSN trace and criminal history

  • References: Proof of 2 clinical references required

  • Employment Application: Complete application/resume required

Certifications

  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (as required)
  • BLS: Basic Life Support (required for all clinical staff)
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (as required)
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (as required)
  • TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course (as required)
