Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License

Job Details

• Assesses patients using history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data
• Provides age-specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice
• Fosters a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors
• Uses appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff
• Uses standard work related to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators
• Precepts and mentors novice employees
• Supports department growth and performance through hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based practices
• Demonstrates continued professional growth through goals and educational offerings
• Floats to assist in other like units as needed
