Job Description

• Position: RN IMC/PCU
• Schedule: 3x12 Days
• Experience Required: 2 years in Critical Care and Telemetry
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• Floating Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs and to sister facilities.

Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • EKG Course/Telemetry Test
  • NIHSS Certification
• Documentation:

  • Current and valid Driver's License or State-issued ID
  • Utility bill in the Traveler's name with matching address (within the last three months)
• RTO Restrictions: No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
• Local Radius Rule: 75 miles (locals not accepted)
• Pending State License: Not accepted

• Competencies and Health Documents Required:

  • Physical Exam (signed by a Physician, PA, or NP)
  • Drug Screen (Negative 10 Panel)
  • Vaccination Records (including Tdap, TB, Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu, and COVID-19)
  • Background Check (7-year criminal background check)
  • References (2 former supervisor references required)
  • Employment Application (including last 7 years of employment)
  • Education Verification (highest level of education)

Skills and Competencies

• Unit-specific skills checklist required.
• Competency exams for Dysrhythmia/EKG and other relevant areas.
