NICU

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Columbus, Ohio
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• NRP
• Ohio RN license
• 1 year of level IV NICU experience
• 2 years total level III/IV NICU experience
• 2 manager or supervisor references at time of submittal, with at least one titled manager/supervisor
• RTO must be added at time of submission

Float Scope

• May float to PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, MS, BPD NICU, CVPICU, PICU, MS, and ED
• May float to other specialties and campuses, primarily Riverside and St. Ann's
• Must be willing to comply with facility float expectations and accept appropriate assignments in floated areas

Role Details

• Average length of stay in BPD NICU is 2–3 years
• Must be comfortable with frequent trach care and heavy parent involvement

Interview Process

• Two-part interview
• Initial screening interview occurs within 24–48 hours of submission with the Float Pool Leader
• Second interview is determined by the NICU unit manager after review of RTO and resume/float pool leader feedback
