Overview

Travel/Contract role in Crescent City, California
Day shift: Monday–Friday, 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit/assignment focus: wound care nursing with direct patient skin and wound management

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Wound Care (2 years of experience)
Wound Care experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
WCC
Experience in Charge roles
Experience with Epic

Uses EPIC
Acuity is about 1 patient every 30 minutes, with about 8–10 patients daily
Responsibilities include assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care; patient/family education; transitions of care; interdisciplinary care planning; and collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers
