Required Qualifications

Valid Virginia RN license; temporary RN licenses are not accepted
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
NRP
Experience with Epic

Fingerprinting for NICU candidates

NURSYS verification

Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella titers
Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination
Drug screening within 60 days of start
Flu vaccine or approved exemption

Orientation / Onboarding

Pharmacology exam, point-of-care testing, and airborne precaution mask fitting are completed at orientation
Unit modules are assigned during orientation and must be completed by the Friday of orientation week
