Location

  • North Charleston, South Carolina

Job details

  • Travel/contract position in an outpatient clinic
  • Day shift: 5x8s, 8:30am to 5:00pm
  • Daily caseload: 55
  • Primary focus is screening mammography
  • Diagnostic mammography may be performed as the schedule allows
  • Must be willing to adjust work hours if overtime is needed
  • May float within scope to meet facility needs
  • Required to float to facilities throughout the Charleston area as needed
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis
  • Radius rule: 60 miles
  • Pending state license not accepted
  • All requested time off must be disclosed at submission
  • Facility does not allow call outs
  • Block scheduling may be accommodated with prior approval, but is not guaranteed

Required qualifications

  • Valid Mammography Technologist license in South Carolina
  • Mammography Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ARRT (M)
  • SCRQSA (M)
  • Must know how to operate Siemens Revelations/Hologic Dimension equipment

Schedule

  • No weekend requirement
  • No on-call requirement
  • Guaranteed hours may be reduced by 1 shift per 2 weeks

Additional information

  • Scrub color: any shade of pink or dark teal top with black bottom
  • Unit orientation is onsite
  • Orientation hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Assigned to emergency response teams during storm season
