Night shift, 3x12 hours
36 hours per week

Schedule and assignment details

13-week contract
Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts in each 6-week schedule period
Floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities
Local candidates are not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
No on-call requirement
Block scheduling is not available
RTO limit: no more than 7 days
Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Strong ventilator experience

Clinical focus

PCU / stepdown
MS/Tele and telemetry monitoring
Ventilated trach patients
COPD and other pulmonary patients
High-acuity respiratory care
Endobronchial valves and ventilators

Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Cardiac monitoring
Feeding tube care and management
Pre/post hemodialysis management
Blood product administration
Central line, PICC, peripheral line, and port access care
IV starts
Heparin protocols
