Job Overview
- Location: Seattle, Washington
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Start date: 9/14
- Contract length: 18 weeks
- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Hours per week: 36
- Patient ratio: 1:5
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Travelers float first within scope to meet facility needs
- On-call: Not required
- Block scheduling: Not accommodated
- Local candidates: Accepted
- Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per every 2-week pay period
- RTO limit: No more than 6 days
- Holiday requirement: Must work 2 holidays; may have 1 of 3 major holidays off
Required Qualifications
- License: Valid RN license in Washington
- Experience: 2 years of experience in Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit
- Recent experience: Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Education: Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Certifications: BLS issued by American Heart Association; NIHSS
- Skills: Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; IV start capability; tracheostomy care
- Experience: Stepdown experience; Level 1 trauma care experience
- Systems: Experience with Epic
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers may be considered if they have strong neuro experience
- Telemetry is required
- Preferred level 1 trauma experience
- Charting system: Epic
